Kaspiche, the King's fool, prepared his hobby, the blacksmith stoked his fire, and the riders looked after their mounts.
Everyone is already ready to celebrate and entertain visitors in search of the wonders of the medieval site of the Tour de Termes.
Prepare to lend a hand to tradespeople: coiner, stonemason or blacksmith...

the medieval forge
Monday, Wednesday and Friday from July 14th to August 22nd – continuously from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Included in the site visit -
The blacksmith, a key figure in the lordship, opens the doors to his lair where the fire quickly ignites, the hammer is raised and the metal takes shape before your astonished eyes!
The blacksmith forges or shapes iron or steel. He is essential to the smooth running of the lordship. Iron tools and objects were omnipresent in medieval life, making these artisans keystones of medieval society.
Thursday's craft meetings
Every Thursday from July 17th to August 21st, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. - Ages 7 and up Full price: €12 Reduced price: €10 Self-guided tour of the site included -
Are you exhausted by the chores of plowing and sowing, peasants and young women?
Aren't you aspiring to join the orders of the cloistered oratories in monasteries and churches?
Become a craftsman! The lordship of Armagnac Termes is booming, and its craftsmen are looking for apprentices!
During these days, learn about blacksmithing, stonemasonry, and coin minting.
An immersive day for young and old, where you are the protagonist of your excursion.
You will create your coat of arms on reconstituted stone, strike your coins as they were struck in the Middle Ages and participate in the production of a coin in the seigneurial forge.

Discover the Tower and the lordly life through the satirical and mocking eyes of the character of Kaspiche, a King's fool.
Kaspiche will tell you the little-known history and curiosities of this medieval Gascon castle.
The King's Fool is the symbol of our medieval and popular academy. He is also a comical character who entertains his king or lord, to whom he is assigned. This colorful character, with his sharp pen, approaches medieval themes with finesse and humor.
The tournaments of chivalry

The noblest lords of our counties enter the lists dressed in their finest robes, proudly brandishing their coats of arms.
The lists are in place and the lances are ready. The knights and lords compete in equestrian jousts before your very eyes. You can cheer on your favorite from the stands.
This is an opportunity for these knights to prove their valour, courage, strength, and skill on horseback. Information:
From 4 p.m., admission to the site is at the tournament rate.
Tournament tickets are available to visit the tower (last visit at 5 p.m.)
